I tried menstrual cup for the first time with Bombae menstrual cup. And, I feel so liberated. It took me two attempts to get it right in place but since then I feel so comfortable to move around. Will recommend every women to try menstrual cups to feel the difference w.r.t sanitary pads.
I have been using Menstrual cups for last 3 years and was delighted to see an offering from Bombae. Couldn't help trying it. And, I am totally in awe. Bombae knows how to delight me, just like their razor does. The ring - it made removing the cup so easy. I am not going back to my earlier cups again.
Ok so this is the first time I've ever tried a cup. For reference, I used to use tampons but hated them because of leaks and making cramps feel worse so pretty much exclusively used pads for the last few years. Whiiiiiich I also hated because they leaked too and I just hated the way it can feel like you're sitting in a wet nappy 🙄. The reasons I wanted to swap to a cup was firstly the leakage, secondly the environmental impact of disposable products.
One instant positive I found was there was no leaks with this cup! Not in the day, not in the night. Freedom!! This alone was transformative for me. Another benefit I found is that when using a cup, you can ACTUALLY tell how heavy your period is, which I think is something useful for women who feel like their periods may be abnormal.
There’s lot of buzz about menstrual cups so what are they really?
Description A menstrual cup is a feminine hygiene device that is inserted into the vagina during menstruation. Its purpose is to collect menstrual fluid and prevent its leaking onto clothes. Menstrual cups are usually made of flexible medical grade silicone and shaped like a bell with a stem.
