Job Summary:

Bombay Shaving Company is looking for a Visual Designer to join its design team at its Gurugram HQ. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in independently designing marketing communication assets such as ad banners, emailers, social media posts and website pages. He/she should be creative, consumer-centric and have a knack for creating designs that drive actions and engagement. A positive attitude and the ability to deliver with speed and quality even under high pressure conditions is a must to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities and preferred Skills:

  1. Study design briefs and determine requirements
  2. Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  3. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas and develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
  4. Has a great portfolio of past work to showcase. Is a self starter with an eye for detail and an ability to execute designs with finesse
  5. Is fast at creating designs and is diligent about delivery timelines.
  6. Is constantly learning and measures the impact of his/her work on user actions such as click through rates and other engagement metric
  7. Predominantly someone who designs for digital platforms (ecommerce, websites, social media), though some experience with designing for offline/outdoor media/POS/retail/product packaging would be good to have

Education and Experience:

  1. At least 2 years of professional graphic design experience preferably at an advertising agency or digital publisher.
  2. High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
